SHINSATSU
Assessments
Shinsatsu (診察) — The Art of Insightful Assessment In Japanese, Shinsatsu means “examination” or “consultation,” yet within the Heartache Helper approach, it represents something more sacred — the moment of clear seeing before the path begins. This is where we slow down to look closely, not to judge, but to understand. Through thoughtful assessment, reflection, and open conversation, Shinsatsu becomes a compassionate mirror that reveals where your heart, body, and story have carried you. It is the foundation for personalized guidance, ensuring that every step forward on your path of healing honors who you are and what you truly need.
Contact MeI prefer to offer a detailed assessment of your life’s journey thus far noting where you feel you triumphed or struggled. These questions will go beyond a one dimensional process where we get basics about family structure, occupation or designated life roles and more into the soul you actually are. If you do not feel comfortable at the beginning of this journey to think so intimately and personally with me, that is ok too. You can always come back to do this part.
What it WILL help me do though if you choose to do it, is to personally set a path with modalities I feel can immediately benefit you. Not every person is the same in how they process or think, such as neurodivergent folks, and I want to honor the individual way YOU process information, including any trauma or immediately distress.
If you decide to take this, you will choose this option, and I will email you the questions which should be done when you are free from distraction, and able to think deeply about the answers. I recommend even a 5 minute meditation before beginning or going for a calm walk. This will help set yourself and your body to honor the steps you are taking .
Once I receive back your responses, I will review and set up a good time with you to give any feedback and immediate modalities or exercises that may bring immediate relief as well as chart our path working together.
Cost: $350
This is an optional assessment that can be done at any point of your journey. It will take you about 2 hours to complete and we will spent a separate 60 minute session discussing this. It is NOT a psychiatric assessment but rather an inner person one.
